The girls and I decided to go to the lake for a little R & R! We spent a couple days swimming, jet skiing, tubing and fishing up there. Olivia has become a huge fan of jet skiing. She would scream "Faster Mommy, Faster Mommy!" Keep in mind, we were already going 55 mph!! She especially likes to look at the lilly pads and buoys on the lake as we pass by. Olivia also has learned how to tube as well. Her top speed at 4 years old is 24 mph! She would have liked to go faster but knocking her out would have ruined her future enjoyment of her new found favorite water activity! Well, I take that back. She really does love spending time with Grandpa swimming in the lake. It might be a tie between the two.
Olivia also enjoyed a surprise treasure hunt that included a pirate eye patch and bandanna. How lucky is she to find an authentic aged map that would lead her into the woods to find old maid cards and cap stick?
Ava also enjoys the lake too! This is not a surprise to us because of her love for water already. She had her first real dip in the lake this year. Ava loved jumping to mommy off the dock but wanted nothing to do with putting her feet on the bottom of lake.
