Da Zoo

A special thanks goes out to Aaron's company for providing a Zoo day for our family! There are many weekends that he is busy with kids camps away in far away lands but this past weekend, it was actually local. We had a blast. O's favorite part was not any of the animals but actually all of the rides that the Zoo now offers. She is definitely a brave soul at three years old. O rode the roller coaster not once but twice. The second time was with Mommy who was challenged by Miss O to put my hands up before we got down the big hill. Nerves if steel at a tender age of three. Wow
Face painting...she is lucky her daddy was along because mommy would have said no to $7.00 tiger face.
One of the many times around....
Spying on the Rhinos
"That"
The finished tiger face paint.
Beautiful tiger huh?
A 2 foot view of a 30ft elephant!
Ava spent most of the day toddling around or riding in her stroller. She really looks up to her big sister for adventure but definitely has some attitude herself! Ava is not afraid to make a statement about what she wants when she wants it. I don't know why I'm shocked by this, as she has been this way from her arrival! Ava really liked hearing the Tiger roar (we all did, actually) and riding a few rides herself. She is quite vocal now and has several words: Mommy, Daddy, AJ, UhOh, That (points to "that"), Up, and Please. We are starting to see the emergence of the tantrums. This is no fun for anyone other than Ava and we are hoping this stage will speed by fast.

A brave girl and her daddy riding the roller coaster.
A happy little rider
(just 1 years old)
