Uh Oh Spaghetti

We have been giving Ava table foods for almost a month now. It is to the point now where she only will eat things when she can pick them up herself. I guess it is good to have Lil' Miss Independent but part of me is sad to see her growing up so fast. I cannot believe how fast time flies. Ava has 4 words: Dada, Mama, Uh Oh, and AJ (our dog).

Camera shy?

We recent changed childcare providers with our girls. It was a tough decision for us but we're confident it was the right one for our family. So far, Olivia has made lots of new friends. She enjoys listening to her Kid Songs in the car on the way to school. She thinks she is a great singer and commented on someday being on stage. She also wanted to know why some kids get to be on TV. WOW! Didn't know how to answer that question so we just decided to play candy land instead.

Ava is still getting used to the pre-Toddler room. She now sits at a table, feeds herself, sleeps on a little cot too. Ava also prefers to do the sit and scoot instead of the conventional crawling. I think this is a sign as to how she is going to approach life: in her own way and creating her own path instead of following other paths. Little Ava is taking the world by storm so watch out!
